Default Coming back x2

Hey guys (to be honest I just posted this in the EotN forum, but I didn't get many responses. Hopefully this will be better).

I used to play GW prophecies when it first came out and was actually a beta tester. After a few months I went to go play wow and about 3 years later, I'm coming back to GW. I just have a few questions.

Just to make things clear, I'm willing to participate in PvP and PvE content equally. Which brings me to my first question, If I were to level my character in the PvE section of GW would I be able to transfer him over to the PvP section? If that is possible, would it prevent me from going back to the PvE section?

What is the new expansion Eye of the North all about? I hear you need to be level 20 and such, did they add a new level cap?

If I do not need to be level 20, how would I access such content?

Also, if I were to buy EotN and level my character up on prophecies, would I be able to quest and instance with people from Nightfall and Factions?

If so, any tips on leveling quickly?

Last question, are there any hacks, scams, guilds or people I should be avoiding?

Thank you all so much, and I look forward to seeing you all in-game.

Make PvP only character. You get access to all unlocked skills and items on account for free.

This is not WoW. There's 3 leveling modes. Fast, faster and fastest.

There's no hacks. Farming bots come closest. Scams are lame as always.

This is not WoW. 20 is max level. You can enter GW:EN at 10, but your level gets boosted to 20.

Also, to stand any chance in PvP, you'll need all 3 chapters. GW:EN isn't strictly needed, but is heavily recommended for PvE due to insta-win Ursan Blessing.

A PvE character can also PvP.
A PvP character cannot PvE.

GWEN/EOTN is a true expansion with level 20 content and NO NEW CHARACTER CREATION. You must own at least one chapter to play it.

You can play with people from any campaign as long as both can reach the same outpost.

Next time, please don't post 3 threads all at once. This isn't a chat room where you can expect people to reply immediately all the time. Anyway here's my response to you on another thread:

Its not as long as a campaign story line, but it is interesting and there is lots of replay value in the various dungeons scattered across the map.

GWEN is intended for lvl20 chars only, but recently anet changed it so you can enter as low as lvl 10 (the low level characters are buffed up until they reach 20, which is probably a good way to level up quickly because of all the high-level enemies you'll encounter). There is no new level cap.

To get to GWEN, you need to buy the expansion, add it to your account, and then you can take a quest from Lions Arch to get there.

The only way you can play with Nightfall or Factions characters is if they also have GWEN or Prophesies. You can meet up with them in the places that both parties have access to.

As for scams, here is a page describing some of the most frequent types: http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Common_scams. I'm not aware of any hacks that can happen to you inside the game, but be careful of outside websites with keyloggers and stuff.
